Casa Nova is pleased to inaugurate the collective exhibition “Nós / Niguém” in February 2018. The exhibition presents a panorama of works dealing with collectivity, appropriation and the use of the landscape by contemporary artists from Brazil, the United States, Spain, Chile and Colombia. Through the use of photography, sculpture, object and painting the selected artists create a discussion about how society today raises problems that lead to an erroneous interpretation for human relations and what is the function of the work of art and the responsibility of artists in the days of today. These intemperities and limits imposed for the interpretation and appropriation of concepts are for the moment still little accepted by the great majority of society, causing these artists to work in the margin of their contestations to reflect the potentiality of art for our days of intolerance.
